Ingredients:

  • Gold Star Chili
  • fries
  • mustard
  • onions
  • cheese
  • bun

Instructions:

  1. Take a Gold Star Chili coney bun and place 2-3 cooked fries in it.
  2. Top it with famous Gold Star Chili and your choice of mustard and/or onions and cheese and enjoy.

Gold Star Benedict

Ingredients:

  • Corn Bread
  • Scrambled or Fried Egg
  • Gold Star Chili
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions:

  1. Place Egg (Fried, scrambled, etc) on warm corn bread
  2. Sprinkle 1 oz shredded cheddar over egg
  3. Cover eggs with 4 oz Gold Star Chili
  4. Top with 2 oz shredded cheddar
  5. Serve immediately

Deluxe Baked Chili Mac & Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Gold Star Chili prepared from Gold Star Chili Spice Pack or 1 can of Gold Star Chili
  • 1 pkg 14 of Kraft® Deluxe Mac & Cheese Dinner
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Cup Milk 1 Cup
  • Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

Instructions:

  1. Prepare macaroni and cheese dinner as directed on the package.
  2. Stir in mozzarella cheese, milk and the prepared Gold Star Chili.
  3. Spoon into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated. EXCELLENT MEAL!!

Vegetarian Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1 Small White Onion (Diced)
  • 1 Gold Star Chili Spice Pack Mix
  • 1 15oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 15oz. Can Red or Light Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 10oz or 15oz Can Black Beans
  • 1 15oz.Can Chili Beans (optional)
  • 2 8oz. Cans Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons of Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Pepper/Cayenne (optional)
  • 2 Cups of Water 1 lb Cooked Pasta

Instructions:

  1. Sauté onion in vegetable oil until translucent over medium heat in a small frying pan or small saucepan.
    Appx. 4-6 min.
  2. Add GSC Spice Pack, salt, and pepper to the onion. Cook for additional 30 seconds over medium heat.
  3. Take remaining ingredients and place into the large sauce pot or pan. Add the onion spice mixture to the pan.
  4. Place the pan over high heat until mixture begins to boil. 5. Turn down the heat to simmer. Simmer the product for an additional 40 minutes or until desired thickness is achieved.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta.

Gold Star Chili Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 large box Philadelphia® Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 10oz. can or frozen (defrosted) Gold Star Chili
  • 16 oz. shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • Taco chips

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 cup finely dices onions
  • 1 medium diced tomato

Instructions:

  1. Spread cream cheese in bottom of 9x13" glass dish and cover with chili.
  2. Layer onion (optional) and cheese on top of chili.
  3. Microwave on high until chili is hot and cheese is melted or bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  4. If desired, add jalapeno peppers and diced tomatoes. Serve with taco chips.

Chili Cheese Nachos

Ingredients:

  • Tortilla Chips
  • 1 can original Gold Star Chili or Gold Star Tex Mex Chili
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Spread tortilla chips on a plate.
  2. Spoon chili over chips.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Microwave on High until chili is hot and cheese is melted.
  5. Variation: Top hot nachos with lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, jalapenos, salsa and sour cream.

Chili-Topped Hash Brown Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen hash browns (like Ore Ida) Butter or margarine
  • Salt
  • 1 can Original Gold Star Chili or Gold Star Tex Mex Chili
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Prepare hash brown potatoes per package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat chili on the stove or in the microwave.
  3. Spoon chili over servings of potatoes and top with cheddar cheese
